Rotimi Akinyele is the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) of PhynxLabs where he leads the application and network security competency.

Rotimi is a core member of the TeamNaija CTF team that won the best Ethical hacking team (Africa) in the 2015 ISACA/EC COUNCIL Global CyberLympics hacking competition.

He also placed 2nd place in the 2016 GISEC CTF Hacking Competition organized for security professionals in the entire Gulf region.

Rotimi is the First Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) out of Nigeria and also doubles as a Licensed Penetration Tester.

He is an experienced Information security professional and has successfully led engagements on penetration tests (Network, Systems, Web & Mobile Applications and ICS/SCADA), assisted organizations to detect/respond to intrusions, performed advanced forensics analysis, developed information systems security architecture even in complex environments, and implemented compliance and risk management systems (PCI DSS, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, NESA and ADSIC).

Rotimi has consulted in the Middle East and Africa region for atleast 13 Banks, 11 Government entities, Payment Switching Company, Airlines, FMCGs, Insurance Firms, Oil & Gas Organizations, Conglomerates, Telecommunication companies & privately held organizations.

The purpose of this blog is to document my thoughts, findings and experiments related to Information Security in general using videos as well as  articles.
